Lately a directory of ours have been bogged down with weird, gibberish SPAM. This is not a new problem but it has got worse as of late. Yesterday when logged into the Administration panel of our directory (powered by phpLD), we found out that there were 53 listings of gibberish. Its really bothersome having to go through the removal process, although it was not too difficult to do so. As they say, prevention is better than cure and we would rather find a way to stop this from even happening in the first place, rather than having to go through every listing and remove it.
