As land is getting scarce, telecommunication companies are looking into getting land owners to lease their unused land to them to built their towers and in return pay a fee to the person for the lease. Indeed, cell tower leases is a good way for landowners to make money as well as providing a service for these telecommunications companies. As the owner enjoys the benefits of the lease till the expiry of the contract which is usually for decades, this means that the landowner will get to invest that money into another business and earn a profit as well.
